I've been able to seek prophetic words, go see for people, and have been seeing many clear things or balls of light flying back and forth with my eyes open for a while. I hear and feel in the spirit quite normally too.
I've been reading many books about the development of my spiritual senses and doing all the exercises regularly as I'd like to be able to experience everything God has for me.
Last night something wonderful happened for the first time!!! I laid down to go to sleep and right as I shut my eyes (I was still wide awake and seeing black from just closing my eyes a second ago) I saw a big bright face leaning over me smiling at me!
I was surprised! I know I didn't imagine or create it. I literally just closed my eyes a second ago and was expecting to lie there thinking and praying and enjoying feeling the presence of God and hearing the angels around my room until I fell asleep.
The second I saw this, I was so surprised that I opened my eyes immediately and started shouting (in my head to God), "Did You see that?! Did you see that?!"
Today I shared my experience with my friend, Michael Van Vlymen. He is also one of my favorite authors (along with Jonathan Welton), and I really enjoy his literature about his spiritual experiences as well as how we as believers can develop all of the senses the Lord has given us.
I thanked Michael for praying for me and encouraging me along my journey (we've been friends for years). This happened Wednesday night and it was just last Friday that I told him 3 of the books on seeing and other supernatural experiences that I was going to read over that weekend and that I was believing for further progress in this area.
He encouraged me, "I am so excited for you! That is awesome. It also tells me that your angels are happy about this development ! Keep spending the time and increase will come . I know this is just the tip of the iceberg!"
I thanked him, and encouraged him by sharing the increase I saw coming for him as well. Then I blessed his upcoming adventures. I told him it hadn't even occurred to me about my angels being happy.
He responded, "Oh thank you! Yes! The angels... That's one of the coolest things how they get right up in your face as your eyes start opening more. They get excited too! I receive your blessing as well!"
I've been experiencing a lot of the supernatural regularly, but had my normal as far as those occurrences go, if you know what I mean. I had become used to many things and although I enjoyed them I had been praying and asking for more for quite some time. I'm excited to see what happens next!
